Engine #8 Fire Station Renovations
This historic and beautiful structure required renovation due to the increased size of the City’s fire truck engines. The City of Cambridge called upon W.T. Rich Company to completely gut and renovate this historic fire station building. Work included exterior masonry wall rehabilitation, and complete replacement of Electrical, HVAC, Sprinkler and Plumbing systems. The project also included replacement of an elevated floor slab and associated structural elements that required complex shoring system designed by W.T. Rich Company. New finishes and specialties were provided throughout.
