OVERVIEW
The Cape Cod Community College (CCCC) – New Wilkens Science and Engineering Center project consisted of the construction of a new two-story building to serve as an important piece of the revitalization plan to modernize the CCCC and further expand its academic missions.
The new teaching lab building includes anatomy and physiology labs, a chemistry lab, a biology lab, lab prep spaces, lecture halls, classrooms, a maker shop, a math resource center and multiple offices - all inclusive of the most modern and technologically advanced features that exist today. A decade in the making, the new center replaced the original 1970s-era facility and now serves as one of the most advanced STEM buildings in the Commonwealth. This project achieved LEED Gold certification.
